Plenty of sweet and floral fruit with hints of jam. Stone, too. Meat even. Full-bodied, yet very polished and velvety, with a fine-grained texture that runs the length of the wine. Bright and vivid.

A barrel sample, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon contains 5% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with notes of blackcurrant cordial, plum preserves and black cherries plus hints of menthol, cardamom and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with firm, grainy tannins and lovely freshness, this delivers a nice long finish.
