Tasting notes
The nose immediately charms with its beautiful aromatic intensity, blending ripe red fruits, delicate violet, and subtle sweet spice notes. Subtle earthy truffle and spice nuances mingle with floral hints and aromas of bramble fruit. On the palate, the attack is smooth and the texture refined, offering generous volume supported by fine, silky tannins. The well-integrated freshness brings balance and vibrancy to the wine. The finish is long and harmonious, marked by a touch of spice and a refreshing, mineral character that extends the pleasure. Already delightful in its youth, this wine will develop even greater complexity after a few years of cellaring. Its aging potential will allow the aromas to gain depth, evolving toward riper and more nuanced notes.
Vinification
Grapes are carefully selected from several plots and harvested at optimal ripeness. After destemming, the berries are placed in temperature-controlled stainless steel
tanks for traditional fermentation between 30 C and 32 C, allowing for full color and aroma extraction. The wine remains on the skins until run-off, after which the
pomace is gently pressed using a pneumatic press to obtain smooth, ripe tannins.
