The 2023 Rose Signature is a blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Pinot Noir from the Uco Valley. The nose displays roses, delicate cherries and herbal aromas. A tropical hint reflects the warm vintage. Dry and refreshing, this Rose has a smooth palate and a pleasant mouthfeel, culminating in an enticing floral finish. This is a serious Rose with a Provencal touch.

Tasting notes

A lovely pale salmon pink color and a fine florality, with hints of wild strawberry and cherry. It shows freshness and clarity, with crunchy acidity, redcurrant and strawberry flavors and a pithy, refreshing finish. This will be very good both as an aperitif and with food, due to the tension on the palate. This wine pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, Asian spicy food, grilled poultry & hard cheeses.

Vinification

The vineyards for this wine were hand-harvested and located at an elevation of 4,000 feet. The grapes were lightly pressed and cold macerated with dry ice for 1 hour. Fermented during 25 days at 12°C. Produced and aged in stainless steel tanks.
