Medium yellow to the eye, this lees-aged Albarino has a nose of Seckel pear, dried thyme and river rocks. It is full-textured and is simultaneously refreshing and complex, offering peach, apricot, Valencia orange, dried Mediterranean herb and fennel pollen flavors that culminate in a dynamic finish. Only 6,600 bottles produced.

Fillaboa's vineyards above the Minho River are some of the most appealing in Rias Baixas and are the source of this mature, intense Albarino from Isabel Salgado. Dense and concentrated, yet supported by acidity and granitic minerality, this has a creamy mid palate, pear and grapefruit flavours a long, tapering, refreshing finish.
