Intense scarlet color. Aromas of fresh red fruit (strawberries, raspberries, etc.) and black fruit (blackberries) with hints of balsamic, aromatic herbs, and spice, culminating with notes of fruit compote in the back of the nose. Light entry in the mouth evolves slowly on the palate. Unctuous, fleshy and well-rounded, with hints of liquorice, delicate tannins and pleasantly persistent fruit.

The Designation of Origin DO Montsant is located in the center of Catalonia, forming a ring around the famous and exclusive DOQ Priorat. DO Montsant is known as the “diamond in the rough”, because although it is a DO that was created only a few years ago, it already has a prestigious reputation throughout the world.
