The 2020 Barbaresco Basarin is rich and supple on the palate, with silky tannins that wrap it all together. Black cherry fruit, leather, spice, menthol and mocha are all amplified in this potent yet well balanced, young Barbaresco.

A sinewy red marked by assertive tannins today, yet this has an impression of sweet, ripe cherry fruit within. The long finish is infiltrated by eucalyptus, iron, tar and tobacco flavors.
