Food pairing
The wine should be opened after at least one hour in the refrigerator and served at 10C, a temperature that will
reveal the exceptional quality and finesse of its tannins. Enjoy as an aperitif, with a salad of blue cheese and
walnuts, grilled poultry or pork chops, pizzas or Asian delicacies (samosas, egg rolls, etc.)
Tasting notes
Ruby hue with purplish tints. Very fruity and pleasant, the nose is fresh and luscious with aromas of fresh red fruit,
yellow fruit and roses. Very rose wine-like aromas. Surprisingly round and without any trace of dryness. It shows a
great deal of softness and subtlety and is best served chilled as you would a rose. This wine’s light, fragrant style
is best appreciated when the wine is still young and fruity.
Terroir
The vines find themselves very much at home in the clay-limestone soils. The viticulture is sustainable and
certified High Environmental Value 3. The latter certification is based on strict specifications with four
main performance indicators which are water management, fertilisation management, a phytosanitary strategy
with quantified environmental measures and respect for communities, with the primary objective of
generating biodiversity.
Wine analysis
This wine, courtesy of the new Brotte generation, has been created to meet new drinking expectations. The white grape
varieties in this red wine refine the tannins, bringing a touch of modernity. Designed to be served chilled, the
SIGNATURE cuvee has taken an eco-friendly approach with a lightweight glass bottle and recycled shipping outers.
Winemaking
The grapes are sourced from small Rhone Valley wine producers, all of whom have been working in partnership with
Brotte for several decades. The winemaking process is where Brotte shows all its savoir-faire and expertise when
it comes to the regional grape varieties.
