James Suckling 93pt

A biscuity, silky blanc de blancs that has very fine bubbles and aromas of lemon peel, sliced apple, fresh croissant and chalk. It's elegant and beautifully balanced.

Vinous Media 91pt

The NV Brut Blancs de Blancs is a very pretty, classy wine. Citrus, white flowers, slate, crushed rocks and white pepper abound. This vibrant, steely NV Blanc de Blancs is quite impressive, and also demonstrative of the new style at Billecart-Salmon. This release is based on 2017, with 23% reserve wines from 2016. It was done entirely in tank, with partially blocked malolactic fermentation. Dosage is 1.2 grams per liter. Disgorged: second trimester 2023.

Wine Advocate 93pt

The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is showing beautifully today, with aromas of confit citrus, pear, herbs, orchard fruits, pastry and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, it is round and supple with the delicate, bright tension that is the signature of Billecart-Salmon. Perfectly balanced and offering a vinous, toasty and elegantly long finish, it's based on the 2017 vintage with 23% from 2016. Vinified and matured in stainless steel, it spent five years on the lees in bottle before being disgorged with a dosage of 1.7 grams per liter.

Wine Enthusiast 93pt

Taut and mineral, this fine Blanc de Blancs Champagne brings out the crispness of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Its croissant aroma suggests some bottle age, confirmed in the ripeness of the white fruits and acidity.

Wine Spectator 90pt

A fresh, open-knit Champagne, with a lacy bead, offering an accessible range of Asian pear, lemon pith and biscuit notes. White blossom and mineral accents show on the finish. Disgorged spring-summer 2023.

Estate

The Champagnes of Maison Billecart-Salmon are above all created thanks to the knowledge of the men who rigorously cultivate an estate of 100 hectares, obtaining grapes from an area totaling 300 hectares across 40 crus of the Champagne region. The majority of the grapes used for vinification come from a radius of 20km around Epernay, where the Grand Crus of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay co-exist, in the ethereal vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs.
