Very primary aromas of crushed berries and flowers. Medium to full body and tight with polished, chewy tannins. Lovely at the end.

The 2016 Mazeyres presents an exotic profile laced with bright, high-toned aromatic and super-ripe red fruits. Blood orange, mint and floral notes all run through the wine This is a decidedly overt style of Pomerol and yet the 2016 remains gracious and medium in body, with the perfume that is typical of sandier soils.

This is a ripe and generous wine, full of black fruits and ample acidity. There is plenty of tannic grip to frame the fruitiness. It is going to be rich, ripe and finely structured.
