Unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries, orange rind and rich spices, framed by a deft application of cedary new oak, the 2019 La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with lively acids and a more tightly wound profile than its counterpart across the street.

The wine is dense with layers of black fruits, ripe and still attached to their tannins. The structure is impressive and concentrated with dark tannins and, even for a second wine powered and with fine potential.
