Product Ratings
James Suckling 92-93pt

Bright and vivid second wine of Giscours shows such resounding energy with lots of blueberry and currant character. Shows its majority of merlot here. Fine and polished.

by James Suckling, 2017

Ageing

French barrels. 30% new oak. 12 months of ageing in barrels.

Harvest

From September 26th to October 20th.
Just like Chateau Giscours, with whom it shares the Terroir, our second wine is envisioned in the vineyard in the Spring by our technical team and crafted in the cellar to reveal its full identity and elegance. Viticulture and winemaking are done with the same level of precision, nevertheless La Sirene de Giscours is focused on a more approachable, fruiter and seductive style.

Tasting notes

La Sirene de Giscours 2016 shows perfectly this pursuit of style and will be enjoyable both in its youth and after some years in bottle.

Vinification

Optical and manual sorting. Concrete and stainless-steel tanks. Maceration 30 jours at 28C.
