Notes of blackcurrants and blackberries with hints of cloves, licorice, tobacco and hazelnuts. It has medium body and ripe, velvety tannins. Juicy and round with a fruity finish. Merlot and cabernet sauvignon.

The 2019 Citran has come together nicely in elevage. Succulent red cherry, mint, tobacco, licorice, rose petal, cinnamon and dried herbs all grace this expressive Haut-Medoc. Hints of cedar, menthol and spice linger. The 2019 is a bit rustic, but it offers plenty of character.
