The family estate launch in 1946 by Jean Clause Ballet's grandfather, Cyprien Furt, with only 5 ha, has been take over 16 years after by his grandson and now by Nathalie and Bruno.

Today, the estate covers 57ha of vines and produces 2 wines Chateau Haut Branda, Chateau Pruneyron and Chateau La caussade. The vines of Chateau Haut Branda are on the west of the town of Vayres on a gravelly sandy plateau ideally exposed overlooking the medieval castle of Vayres.
