An attractive nose with spices, wild herbs and a hint of smoke to the savory cherries. Medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins and a juicy center-palate. Sappy and pristine.

The 2021 Cabernet Franc Gran from the Uco Valley was aged in foudres for 12 months. Garnet red in hue. The outgoing, intricate nose offers blackcurrant, mint, hints of ash and herbs followed by aromas of black tea, rose petal, tomato leaf and a little spice. Broad and potent but medium-bodied, the accomplished acidity lends vigor and depth to the flavors. The 2021 is a ripe but expressive wine.
