Product Ratings
Wine Spectator 94pt

Aromas of lilac, cassis and fresh leather leap from the glass, while the generous flavors of blackberry and plum are set against a plush frame. Subtle wood spice accents fold in as this moves, with nice persistence and abundant, lingering, spicy details. Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

James Suckling 94pt

A very subtle and complex wine on the nose with blackberries, bramble berries, dark mushrooms and chocolate. It's medium-bodied but very compact on the palate with a long and flavorful finish. Structured and complete. A blend of 40% cabernet sauvignon, 30% malbec, 15% cabernet franc and 15% petit verdot. Drink in a year or two but already so pretty.

Tasting notes

Deep, bright ruby red color. It shows sweet red and black fruits, subtle oak and a great backbone of tannins. The red and black fruit aromas followed by an elegant grip over florality comes from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The other grapes blend in to add flavor and complexity. It has a fine, lifted finish with great ageing potential. Pairs well with beef, pork, lamb, squab, quail and duck.

Description

Brioso means a spirited love of challenge and it expresses my passionate drive to create a wine that reaches the pinnacle of quality. Refined and elegant, this red blend results from the combination of my winemaking skills, knowledge and the uniqueness of Agrela, one of the best terroirs in Argentina. Fabricio Portelli, Argentinian wine critic, described it as ''Voluptuous and elegant, Young in its textures, but mature in its expressions, and with a pleasant freshness that adds deepness in every sip.( ... ) A great wine to enjoy now or save for later.
